Applying for Grant Renewal
All Foundation grants are made for one year with some twice renewable. Renewal depends on actual achievement, compared with what the organization committed to accomplish, and on availability of funds. It is not necessary to complete a new application. A letter request accompanying the “annual” report will suffice.
- “Annual” reports are due at 11 months, to allow time to assess progress before a renewal vote.
- Financial accounting for the grant and a narrative explaining the financial accounting should accompany the report for all grants exceeding $10,000.
- Organizations must wait a minimum of 3 years after 2 or 3 consecutive years of funding before re-applying.
