Please submit a brief inquiry – by letter, email or phone call – to ensure your request fits our criteria and that we have funding available, before investing the time and work to prepare a complete grant application. Requests for $10,000 or less need only a letter description plus the required documentation.

Our deadlines are:

• Spirituality and Environment/Animal Rights Grants:  March 15
• Social Justice and Education Grants: July 15.

Occasionally, a request will be held over from one granting period to the November meeting, in case we have additional funds to disburse at the end of the year.

You are welcome to submit your application electronically (email), including .pdf scans of the required supplementary documentation and email signature(s). You are also welcome to download the form and send us a printed version.

The substance of your request is more important to us than our form, so if you already have your project description and/or your budget in a format different from ours, please submit what you have. Please be sure to include all of the information we request.  If you are a Greater Kansas City organization in DonorsEdge, you may refer us to your listing in lieu of submitting other financial and legal documentation.

We prefer to do a site visit before voting on a proposal.
